Magnetic suspended rotor is a new, advanced high technology product. With the advantages of frictionless, no wear, without lubricating, no pollution, low consuming and long life, it suits high and super high speed, vacuum condition and some of the special condition. Its application foreground is quite extensive and is very important in the fields of military affairs, space station, nuclear industry, energy sources, chemical plant, traffic and so on. In order to make the magnetic suspended knowledge to be known, the thesis focuses on designing a magnetic suspended system demonstration installation.Acquisition of the demonstration installation worldwide used magnetic suspended technology, and account for the two main application fields: magnetic levitation train and magnetic suspended rotor, the thesis use multi-freedom magnetic suspended rotor system as the demonstration installation. For the purpose of simple structure and easiness to look on, the installation adapted the centripetal effect of magnetic field, used two radical magnetic bearings to realize 5-DOF control of the rotor.After illustrating the overall arrangement of Magnetic suspended rotor, the thesis deduces and illustrates the structure design method, the selection of materials, the detail design process and related design projects radial Magnetic bearing.The magnetic suspended rotor system demonstration installation, developed PID digital controller and a real-time control program with real-time workshop toolbox of MATLAB. The program was linked to external magnetic suspended system through Data acquisition card; the digital control base on computer control platform is achieved. The construction and parameters tuning method of ideal PID controller and analog PID controller is briefly introduced, finally, PID parameters that are suitable for this system are obtained, carrying out simulation and experiment study of the magnetic suspended rotor.
