With the popularization of automobile, Traffic accident becomes more and more. The research of automobile security has turned into a very important task for vehicle experts. With the deeper understand of the automobile, the consumer have higher require to the quality, not only its dynamics and economics, but also handling and ride. More powerful technology and methods meet them, and they all based on betterly studing system dynamics of automobile. In ordering to improve the capability of automobile, more and more vehicle factorys around the world make use of virtual prototype technology. The applications of virtual prototype technology help the designers to betterly understand the characteristic of ride comfort, controllability, stability and brake performance, so that they can judge if the performances of the vehicle meet the requirements. And we can prove the performances of the vehicle through amending the capability parameters. The software ADAMS, which developed with multi-body system dynamics, is the most fashionable and authoritative software in the field of mechanical dynamics simulation. In this thesis, using the software ADAMS/CAR ,a 135 DOF multi-body system dynamics open loop control model was built. And according to the requests of standards, lots of simulation research of open loop control test, such as steady state cornering test, braking on curve test and so on, were carried on. Then simulation research of closed loop control test, such as slalom test and"8"form driving test, were carried on with the driver control document.Based on the simulation results, we can find that the car possess better returnability, braking performance and so on. But steady state cornering performance and transient response performance is not good. In this thesis, the multi-body system was optimized with three parameters of automobile amending. And the steering performance of automobile was improved obviously.
