Research On Semi-flexible Asphalt Mixture Pavement Structure And Performance

The semi-flexible pavement is a kind of rigid and flexible pavement, which is formed by filling the special cement slurry into the big-interspaced asphalt mixture. The semi-flexible pavement has the higher character of flexibility than the cement concrete pavement and the higher character of rigidity than bituminous concrete pavement, we call it semi-flexible pavement to distinguishing the ordinarily half rigid base course。On the base of research inside and outside of the country, and recurring to orthogonal test methods, the mix design of cement slurry and mother asphalt mixture has been studied, and the corresponding design method has been brought forward. At the same time, the paper has put up a series of research about the semi-flexible pavement performance and analyzed the mechanism of strength formation. The paper analyzed the mechanism of strength formation, brought forward the mix design method and evaluated its performance.In the process of time, the cement mud pour into the matrix bituminous mixture, the cement mud get coagulate and hardening, change plastic to the three-dimensional reticulation structure of"cohesion-crystal". Tobermorite of the primary product by cement hydration fill in the space of cement partical and get to compact ,which improve the intensity. As the component part of the semi-flexible asphalt mixture, the cement mud account for 20%～24% of the hole volume ,which form the intensity of this material with aggregate of bituminous mixture. It must have following characters: (1) enough compress strength and rupture strength.(2) good flowing property.(3) the verity of volume must less than 0.5% at the process of hardening.(4) the small property of dry shrinkage and temperature shrinkage.(5) can well combine with mixture. According the result of orthogonal test, among the element of effect the intensity of cement mud, water cement ratio and the dosage of sandy are master factor.The design method of the semi-flexible asphalt mixture is volume-design- method.volume-design- method emphasis on as well sufficient embed function of the main framework as adequate utilization fine aggregate's filling and bonding function ,which incorporate embed criterion with filling criterion organic. It is very convenient utilization finite element software to simulate the inner of this structure's stress-force and strain made by this mixture in transport operation ,as a consequence it establish the basis for going deep into research the character of this pavement construct and promotion it abroad.
