With the advancement of digital information technology, networktechnology and integrated circuit technology, embedded system has beenwidely used in the development and design of electronic products. Thereare more advantages of applying embedded system in Safe-guard system designand implementation, such as modularizing system development, simplifyingthe development procedure, cutting down developing period and cost, andimproving system performance. So it is a general trend to apply embeddedsystem in safe-guard system design.By studying the current situation and advancement trend of safe-guardsystem, this paper presents an overall solution of embedded intelligentsafe-guard system. The implementations of the system include the followingfour aspects:1. Basic principles and hardware circuits of sensors used in the systemare detailed.2. Main processing unit selection of the alarm host is first paid moreattention, and then the hardware and software implementation ofpower modular, real-time clock modular, alarm input modular, serialcommunication modular, remote controlling modular, keyboardmodular, LCD display modular, telephone dialing modular, alarm datastorage modular, and alarm voice playing modular are all detailedpresented.3. Surveillance software using electronic map is developed.4. System anti-interferences and measures of decreasing alarmingerrors are also given.
