With the development of human society in the 21st century, transport industry and the information industry that include"flow","logistics"and "information flow" has become crucial decisions strength of social productive forces and socio-economic development. Among them, the transport industry has not only become the"accelerator", but also an important part of national economy.Since the beginning of reform and opening up, China's economy continues to expand, the scale of economic output continued to increase and social development has entered a rapid growth period. As it is said in the"Proposals for formulating the 11th Five-Year Plan for National Economy and Social Development"which approved in The 16th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC),"11th Five-Year " is an important period, the first 20 years of this century is an important period of strategic opportunity for China's development, the "11th Five-Year Plan" period is the key. On this background and the important role of transport in the national economy further strengthened. However, the new development period needs new ideas for development,"a fundamental shift in the mode of economic growth- from extensive economic growth pattern to an intensive one"is the actual requirements of various sectors of society during this period. As socio-economic development of the carriers - city, it should also be access to comprehensive development in the economic, social and ecological.Various different types of transport facilities in City forms various traffic space, such as road space, parking space, the viaduct space, the space beneath the subway, buses station space and the station space before comprehensive traffic hub. And the various forms of transportation has developed its own integrated transport hubs such as airports, water port, highway passenger (goods) Station, rail passengers (goods) Station, MTR station. Among them, rail transport with security, economic advantage in the two industries occupy huge proportions, according to the"People's Republic of China Ministry of Railways Statistical Bulletin 2004", the year 2004 to complete a national railway cargo transportation volume sent 2.49017 billion tons, send complete passenger transport volume of 1.11764 billion, passenger transport volume of 571.217 billion in 1994, and because of the characteristics of railway station of concentration, large, the complex, and is more closely related with the urban space is typical, so as the subject of this study. The papers through the investigation and analysis based systems theory of some China's major railway comprehensive traffic hub stations, integrated it's regional space which based on the basic nature into the structure of urban space. From urban space design point of view to research the basic characteristics and composition of China's major railway hub for passenger traffic and the dynamic relationship with city traffic structure and the interaction with urban spatial structure. Further, explore the development direction of design of station space. This paper hopes to sum up the experience, in light of own investigations and studies to find out more systematic theory as a useful reference of the planning and design of city's comprehensive transport hubs.In papers structural arrangements, first, form urban design point of view, definite and classify rail passengers station space in concepts and the nature, analysis it's material, elements and interfaces, space and act constitute. Then, research for further from the railway station's positioning and functional characteristics, the spatial elements, constitutes sequence, constitute interface to study their physical characteristics, as part of its users to place and the behavior of the players and psychological model analysis. Finally, combining examples, discuss the relationship between the overall urban spatial structure and station space, in a bid to sum up a more systematic optimal integration principle of the rail passengers station space, and given this paper a quite realistic guiding significance.
