The Improvement Research On Diesel Engine Of Medium Truck

This paper has completed improvement research on diesel engine Type 6102, developed and designed the improved version of diesel engine Type 6105 . This paper discussed design thought and improvement plan of diesel engine Type 6105, determined main performance specifications of diesel engine Type 6105, Optimized part of the performance indexes. Improved the general arrangement of diesel engine Type 6105, the overall construction to be more superior. Analyzed and examined the essential load bearing components, ie. connecting rod of diesel engine Type 6105, its fatigue strength and the safety coefficient has met the design requirements. Proposed the thought and themethod of applying similar analogy principle, based on Type 6102, Proposed the balance design method after increasing the crank radii of Type 6105, achieved a balance so that the rotational inertia of the crank radius reached the same level as the type6102.By Experimental test of combustion analysis, reliability, emissions, noise , loading adaptability , proved improved type 6105 diesel engine are better than type 6102 on dynamic indicators , some indicators were 30% superior than original model. Economic indicator such as minimum fuel consumption of set point dropped by 5% compared to the original model. Close to the Euro 2 standards of emissions. This type is more advanced than the same type of domestic diesel engines.
