Computer simulation is an important technical means for design, optimization, control and match of automotive air conditioning system. It is also an important incarnate for modernize design way of automotive air conditioning products. The other hand, as the type of refrigerant CFCs can cause the destruction of atmospheric ozone layer and the greenhouse effect and it will be replaced and banned, but alternative refrigerants often lead to a refrigeration system EER lower. Therefore, the influence of in-depth study of new environmental refrigerant to dynamic and static properties of refrigeration and air conditioning system, the development of refrigeration and air conditioning system adopting a new type of refrigerant, and the transformation of original air conditioning system to achieve the best match, it has become the important research content of refrigeration and air conditioning system.In this paper, base on the past research, simulation models of automotive air conditioning system and its main parts have been established, primary performance of automotive air conditioning system and its key components have been analyzed.Specific works include:Refrigerant thermodynamic parameters model is established. The model can be used to accurate account of thermodynamic parameters for various common refrigerants (R12, R22, R502 and R134a), and to meet the need of refrigeration and air-conditioning system simulation.The main components simulation modules of automotive air conditioning system are improved and developed. The compressor and expansion valve mathematical model have been established. Based on the existing research, distributed parameter simulation model of evaporator and condenser of automotive air conditioning system are developed, under the quantitative parameters of the coupling point, mathematical model of components are linked by energy flow and material flow relations and the entire automotive air conditioning system simulation model are completed.The automotive air conditioning system and its main components performance is simulated on research. Dynamic and static characteristics of automotive air conditioning system and heat exchanger is simulated detailedly, dynamic and static characteristics of automotive air conditioning system and heat exchanger main thermal parameters is analyzed in different disturbance conditions, instantaneous distributed characteristics of main thermodynamic parameters in heat exchanger is simulated on experiment research.Heat exchanger performance is simulated on research by adopting different refrigerant. Evaporator and condenser performance is simulated on analysis by adopting different refrigerants (R12, R22 and R134a), focusing on the difference of heat exchanger internal refrigerant temperature distribution, refrigerant vapor quality distribution, supercooling temperature, superheating temperature and cooling capacity by adopting different refrigerants.The above study work for automotive air conditioning system design, system optimization, control and match, and the research of refrigeration and air conditioning system adopting new refrigerants has some reference value.
