The production device of chlor-alkali enterprise is becoming large,complicated, sophisticated, and automated gradually. A centrifugalcompressor is one of the main devices. Ensuring production and avoidingaccidents in production, the periodic examination and repair are replacedby the states monitoring, it is benefit to holding states characteristics,judging fault reasons and repairing immediately. In this paper, acentrifugal compressor in a domestic chlor-alkali enterprise is studiedthrough states monitoring of vibration, spectrum detection equipment andfault diagnosis analysis, which provides warranties for maintenance. Thework in this as follows.The trend of maintenance for modern equipment, the technologydevelopment of states monitoring of vibration and fault diagnosis isreviewed in chapter 1, and then the purpose, significance and work areelucidated for vibration monitoring of chlorine centrifugal compressor. Chapter 2 contains knowledge of vibration and fault diagnosis. Thecommon knowledge of vibration and fault diagnosis in engineering isintroduced in detail.Basic methods of fault diagnosis analysis are described in chapter 3.The common types of mechanical failure and the correspondingreasons on chlorine centrifugal compressor are discussed in chapter 4.In chapter 5, using spectrum analysis, data tables and vibration curve,operation status of chlorine centrifugal compressor is clarified accordingto vibration spectrum.Then the conclusions are shown in the final chapter.
