Research Of The Method System Of Shape And Color Design

Modern landscape was impacted deeply with the visual culture intrusion after 1960's. For one thing people was enjoyed by visual culture , for another thing people was puzzled by various visual culture and lack of systematic controlling, which lead to serious problems such as visual polluting ,visual confusion and color polluting and so on, especially in aspects of shape and color.Shape and color act as two main factors (vision and sculpting) in the field of landscape; no other one can take place of them in modern landscape design. While shape and color can make one point in aspects of physiology and psychology, so they are always being considered together in landscape design. It's more convenient and direct to use them as two expression tools in landscape design.So this article focus on studying problems such as visual puzzles and color polluting which is a universal problem in the field of landscape in our country. The study objects are shape and color, the carrier is modern landscape. The author discussed the basic theory of shape and color including the constituent, physiological feelings and psychological feelings, and analyzed the particularity of the carrier of modern landscape, at the same time the author gathered some latest theoretical achievement about that subject from foreign country, then the author gives her own opinions about shape and color design. The main points are multielement, humanism and environmental benefit, which are an innovation; they are also the foundation and the rules of following studying. On the instruction methods the author tried to analysis the topic of the landscape, trait of space, format of beauty configuration, trait of visual physiology, trait of psychological feeling, objects function of landscape and environmental benefit and so on, which is the general method on shape and color studying. On the operation methods the author tried to start from living investigate, establishing restriction condition and position control of various zones, building database, inducing model of shape and color, building shape and color series, comprehensive analysis of shape and color and so on. At last the author gives an example about the landscape design of HouJi Park of Yang Ling of China; she also analyzed the feasibility of the method.
