Most of the existing researches focus on the rollover monitor and control. But the writer of this paper think that rollover warning and prediction can reduce the accidents which were caused by human operation effectively.In this paper, a three degree freedom vehicle rollover model is built. A TTR rollover predication model is established with a TTR predication algorithm. A rollover control method based on reaction wheels is introduced and used in the rollover control model which is simulated in the Simulink software.A rollover warning controller and a rollover controller are designed with a TMS320LF2407 DSP and a XC866 MCU. The TTR rollover predication method and reaction wheels rollover control method are used in the controller.A hardware-in-the-loop simulation system is built for the experiment of the controllers. The system's hardware contains a PC, a NI PCI-6024E multifunction DAQ card and a SC-2075 signal conditioning accessory. The system's software is developed with VC++ and Real-Time Workshop. The controller in the loop experiment is done at last. The results show that the rollover warning controller can provide an accurate rollover predication signal and the rollover controller model can suppress the rollover of the vehicle.
