Velocity of Helicopter is shorter than that of sound , the height of aviation is shorter than that of planes with fastness wings. Air speed is a very important parameter of aeroplanes. Recently, Embedded system applies in aviation more and more. The low energy waste and hign speed of calculating of ARM make it to be trusted by designers and engineers of communication system,control industry,automobiles,aeronautics and more other fields.The article researchs on the air speed testing of all orientations ,brings the ARM7 MCU and smart digital sensor together so as to form a whole and provides a new method and a new project of speed testing so as to scheme out a rudiment of helicopter airspeed measuring system based on embedded system. Smart sensor is made up of the peizoresistive pressure sensor Model 1210, 24 bit∑-Δanalog to digital conversion CS5532 , and Atmega16 , periphery circuits etc. A software for data processing is designed for non-linear adjust and temperature adjust . The data of pressure collected by smart sensor will be sent to AT91SAM7S64 by USART and will also be disposed and computered by it. It can account out the airspeed and displays at the LCD and be put to the interface of Usart and USB. The article put forward a double embedded system of AVR and ARM ,they can collect and dispose separately,and exert their superiority.The experiment shows that the design fits for helicopter good and achieves high testing precision. The smart sensor can be assembled to a machine for air pressure and height testing. The electronic parts selective purchasing and circuits making and software are designed independently.
