With the increasing electrical in aircraft, the higher performancesof aircraft power supply often used for the daily helicopter maintenanceand repairs are required. The medium frequency inverters with theadvantage of high performance, high reliability and high loadcompatibility had researched and developed in recent years.A novel real-time feedback control scheme suitable for AC powersupplies is proposed, which is composed of the output voltage RMSamplitude feedback control and the capacitor voltage and currentreal-time feedback control. The proposed scheme incorporates dualsynchronous PWM technique of single-phase full-bridge inverter andmultiple-loop feedback control. The system performances can be improved.A novel parameter design method for LC filter is also proposed. Basedon the fundamental input and output parameters of AC power supplies, theparameters of LC filter can be calculated precisely to meet the maintechnical specifications.Based on the technical specifications of the medium frequencyinverters, the general designed principle and circuit of the three-phase400Hz 60KVA static variable frequency power supplies are introduced.Finally, test results are presented.
