The key technique in remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system for steam turboset is researched in this thesis. In combination with the high speed development of IT technology, the overall structure of Web based system of remote monitoring and fault diagnosis on steam turbine is designed. The internal Intranet C/S model of the local data acquisition system and the Internet B/S model of remote monitoring service center are combined organically to form a rational system with multilayer structure. Multi-buffer technology is used in the data acquisition system to ensure that high speed data is not lost, scientific analyses like FFT are done for the real-time data then, at last, the data is displayed and put into database with the optimized storage process to improve data storage efficiency so that the customers at the remote terminal can get the information in time. At remote client, Ajax, Asp.net, Ado.net, SQL Database technology and the VML component in browser are used in the system; the rapid changed signal is displayed with non-refresh in the Web and without downloading any additional controls. The traditional way of data transmission is changed; the vision effect and the safety of the system are improved. In addition, the system will also provide online discussion, cooperation diagnosis system and help system for the Non-professional workers. A prototype remote diagnosis system is developed on the basis of the study on the key technical in the remote monitor and diagnosis system, the Ajax technology is successfully used in graphical user interface of industrial monitoring system, and a new solution is proposed for the development of Web-based remote monitoring system.
