The world is surrounded by many traffic problems, such as traffic safety, traffic jam and the environmental pollution and so on. With the development of society, the scope of urban is more and more large. The phenomenon of traffic requirement continuous increased, traffic jam, the incident of accident become obvious, and the traffic has become the bottleneck of the urban development. In order to solve the increasing of urban traffic requirement, it is impossible to depend on widening road and building new road. We should improve management service and control level of road net in existence, and improve the capacity.In the early 1990s, ITS (Intelligent Traffic System) emerged as the times require. ITS was integrated by advanced information technology, data communication technology, electronic sensor technology, control technology and computer technology. It was used to build the Traffic Transportation Management System that can be effect in a big range.Urban Traffic Signal Control System and Urban Traffic Flow Guidance System were the important part of ITS. They were two important means in Urban Traffic Management, both connect and independent, the function complementary but specialized in one side. The Collaboration of them can improve urban Traffic condition, and make full use of the capacity of road in existence.The thesis introduced research status of Urban Traffic Control and Route Guidance System, analyzed necessity of Urban Traffic Control and Route Guidance System collaboration research. After introducing something about Urban Traffic Control and Route Guidance System, it analyzed three models of DTA(Dynamic Traffic Assignment).Then recommended Agent Technology, Multi-Agent theory and Intelligent collaboration between Agents, on the basis of these theory it introduced Traffic Signal Control Multi-Agent BDI Model, then it finished the structure design of TSCA(Traffic Signal Control Agent).At last it introduced Game Theory and used in the research, proposed Based on Multi-Agent Traffic Control and Route Guidance Game Models, introduced Based on Genetic Algorithms Urban Traffic Signal Control System optimized Algorithms and Based on Multi-Agent & Game Theory Urban Traffic Signal Control System collaboration Algorithms. The thesis validated Effectiveness of Algorithms by using MATLAB and JAVA simulation.
