As the economic fast development, modern transportation system makes people's lifemore convenient and more comfortable, at the same time it also brings some influence to thesafe of people's lives and fortune, such as constructing the bridge. This will reduce the naturaltransect of the river, bring the upriver water surface higher and erode the backward position,then it will give birth to latency menace toward the riverway flood and the safe of people'slives and fortune. So before constructing the bridge, the designers must have a clearunderstanding about the flood surface changing at different rainfall situation. The purpose isto make the design more scientific and more reasonable. Considering this practical needs, thispaper develops the influence visualization system of the flood about constructing bridge.The riverway terrain change is not so obvious and using the normal method will notsolve the problem of huge number of data and the computer hardwares. After comparing theadvantages and disadvantages of the DTM models, this paper proposes a new method whichcan simulate the riverway terrain. This method can avoid producing a great deal of uselessdata and implement in computer easily.The terrain changes are expressed by contour lines in existing digital line graph. How todistill the third dimension control data from the digital line graph is the main problem of thesystem former dispose module. After analyzing the organization of the DXF format file andthe characters of the riverway terrain and the riverbank, this paper gives the arithmetic ofdistill the third dimension control data and generating the height of riverway and riverbanknet points.The communion function is the main feature of the system and the water level changebefore and after constructing the bridge can be observed through select the menus. Becausethe flood surface change is unconspicuous, the system provides the nephogram display inorder to show the change more clearly. In virtue of the functions of foretelling the floodoverflow and querying the riverway height at arbitrary section, the system can help thedesigners to learn the height and the scale of the flood. After then the designers can judge thespan and the height of the bridge is reasonable or not and whether need to enlarge the span orenhance the height of the riverbank. So the system provides an intuitionistic visualizationmethod for the people of decision-making and designering to ensure their decisions morescientific, more exactly and more effectively. Beside the functions giving above, this paper also introduces some instance of the flooddisaster analysis all over the world. At last the system introduces the method of calculateflood overflow scope after giving the flood height. It establishs the foundation of perfectingthe function of the system.
