The necessity and the important meanings of developing the new generation 80t loads open wagon have been discussed in the first part of the thesis. After summarizing the history of the open wagon in our country, we point out the low standards, small loads, low speed, and badly security of the current open wagon; it can hardly satisfy the developing economic requirement of opening the 20 thousand ton loading wagon in Dalian to Qin huangdao, and the requirement that in 2005 the transportation capacity per year can reach to 200 million , in 2010 the capacity per year can reach to 400 million .We think that developing the 80t loads open wagon, for example the C80 type double tub A-alloy bodywork, can not only reduce the weight of vehicle, fall down the center of gravity, improve the dynamical capability, but also can satisfy the requirement of heave tonnage's traction and has obviously economical and social benefit.The thesis aims at diversified vehicle design standards and the idiographic circumstances in using vehicle combine the traditional vehicle design experience, ensure a series of new design parameter of the 80t loads open wagon. Based on these, we carry through the finite element analysis for the new project, including intensity analysis, stiffness analysis, modal analysis. According to the analysis results, the design can be improved remarkably. In order to enhance the security, based on the Miner cumulative damage rule and AAR standard, The Fatigue Life of the car is predicted founded on the platform, which is developed by the factory. By the repeated contrast and modification for the project, it has got the success that the development of the new 80t loads open wagon and make great contribute for our country's over-loading wagon design.
