With the more development of national power system, there are a series of great and oversize power plant, transmission network and distributing network foot by foot built. National area power grid framework is increasingly complex. System reactive power is transmitted from distant region because the power supply distributing is improper. Power system via net loss is increasing and voltage eligibility ratio is reducing. Area power grid reactive power optimization problem is increasingly unveiling. The management of power grid is more difficult. A favorable area power grid reactive power optimization system will enlarge efficiency of power grid reactive power management. Reactive power optimization compensating can save energy, reduce visual power, improve voltage eligibility and boost up power system stability. It can gain vast economy benefit and be propitious to safely running of power grid.Area power grid reactive power optimization system is a voltage-reactive power optimization and centralized automated control system that build on the area dispatching automated system, suburban dispatching automated system and dispatching automated engineering software. It collect the whole area power grid real time data. Its optimization goal is minimum of the whole power grid via net loss and it's restriction term is voltage eligibility. It's ultimately aim is that the acting times of the capacitor and load voltage-tuning power transformer Connecting node of substation is least. It not only assure that the voltage of the whole power grid connecting is eligible, but also optimally control the collocation of the whole power grid reactive power. Finally, the reactive power flow run at the most reasonable way, and the area and suburban dispatching automated system realize the function of four-remote. It hugely debase the working intensity of dispatching personnel. This system conquer the shortage of the voltage-reactive power controller(VQC). Its human-computer interface is very straightforward and clear-cut. It needn't stakeout. A area or suburban dispatching department can realize the voltage-reactive power optimization and centralized control of all substations in its power grid., so it saves investment.
