The city is the landscape primarily constituted by the artificial ecosystem. The mottling,the matrix and the corridor make up a complete city landscape space pattern.This research takes Suzhou city as an example to analyze the structure and pattern of thecity green landscape by utilizing remote sensing and the geographical information technology;by selecting some landscape ecology indexes such as the green landscape constitution, thelandscape multiple index, the landscape superiority index, the landscape uniformity index, themottling density, the mottling broken index, the minimum range index, the landscapeconnection degree. It also proposes the modem city landscape plan design, the ecology plan andthe coordination and the uniformity during the sustainable development. 1 one throughestablishing one kind of afforested system which adapts to natural ecological environment;manifests the city landscape pattern order and has the infinite vitality and the spatial guidancefunction. Finally, we will achieve the ideal target of becoming an ecological city. It willpromote the natural, social and economical system of the city to develop in a coordinated,healthy and continuous way. Concrete procedures:(1) The Suzhou city green plans should use "to wedge, to melt, to be insightful" layout methodsto carry on the layout and spread from the rivers and landscape roads to form "one center, twonets, three links, six gardens" structural style.(2) We should open the city green mottling according to the host city overall landscape pattern.(3) We should combine the path and the river system to construct the city ecological roads. (4)We also should rationally arrange the city parks and greens; make full use of the presentlandform conditions; coordinate with the overall plan to construct one batch of new city parks.The innovation spots of this research:If the optimization plans being put into actions, it will prominently manifests the ecologyand the culture of the landscape, we will establish green ecological space based on the naturalnetwork of rivers and lakes skeleton.And it will lay stress on two big characteristics of layout which respectively are "two nets"and "the district control"."Two nets": two big network systems which can reflect the characteristics of citygreen. Respectively they are the shore network system which constitutes by the afforestedbelts of the rivers in the urban district and the ecology healthy body walk network system whichconstitutes by the city botanical garden landscape road."District control": to carry on the district control to the city by using the different use degreesof potential lands, unifying the city present situation and condition as well as the city overallplan. Specifically as follows: (1) Ecology green control area: This region, along with the city development, will be allowed tobe spare lands for the city to be expanded in the future. But before development, the rate ofgreens must be above 40%.(2) One -Level of green control areas: The lands for the forward development of the city, it isunder good control, its rate of greens must be above 35%.(3) Two -level of green control areas: The lands for the recent development of the city, it hasbeen partly developed, but will be under control, its rate of greens must be above 30%.(4) Three -level of green control areas: City present situation: the density of old city constructionis high, the population housing is centralized, and its rate of greens must be above 25%.
