| Based on the maintenance system of electric power devices, this paper, which takes thevacuum circuit breaker as an example, discusses the necessity of developing condition-basedmonitoring. The vacuum breaker is one of the most important devices in the electric powersystem, so it's very important to ensure the vacuum circuit breaker could run reliably. Thepresent maintenance system has been unsuitable for the turn of the electric power market, soit's necessary to apply on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis on the real-time state of thevacuum circuit breaker, to provide reference for the maintenance of the power plant.The paper introduces the situation of current research on equipment state monitoring andfault diagnosis at first, and probes into development heading in future, then analyses the wayto apply condition-based monitoring, and advances an analytic procedure which is based onthe FMECA failure mechanism. Combined with practical situation of the Huaneng powerplant, a suit of system for on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis are developed, which is apart of the condition-based maintenance of the power plant devices.The system which adopts Windows NT operation system, chooses Microsoft Visual C++6.0 as a develop implement, and has developed a Windows environment graphical systeminterface pleasing to the eye, running speed and compatibility. The system has designed threescreen interfaces, which are exchanged by menu or tool shown in column icon.Instrumentations, forms and curves show different ways of monitoring data, and visualimages to reflect the current status of circuit breakers, conducive to the management of view.The system, which selects the ADO data base interface way, has built Access-baseddatabase in Server, and has realized the automatic storage and inquiry for monitoringinformation. To check and upkeep for equipment conveniently in the future, and realizeself-diagnostic and self-learning function, bring forward to construct the knowledgemanagement system on the basis of the data base. When storing fundamental information andcondition-based data of the breakers, supply more experience acquired from field experts andspecial field persons to the database, which organized by an appropriate way that could beidentified by the computer, and this will be an accumulation for realizing self-diagnose andself-study function.The system could provide services in the entire life of the device, which includes themanagement of fundamental information of the devices, the monitoring of the health situation of the equipment, maintenance in time on the devices, and intelligence diagnosis onequipment. And also the system has good opening, adaptability and extensibility. |
