| A gear-case is applied to change the torque and speed transmitted from the engine to drive-wheels. At this, the vehicle will gain various speed and traction under different running conditions such as starting, climbing, turning, accelerating, etc. At the same time, the engine can be operating under the best state. The gear-case is set a neutral gear, so the power-transmission from engine may be stop in engine starting, sliding motion and stopping to the vehicle. The gear-case is also set a reverse gear so as to gain back-running performance. If there is necessary, the gear-case can also output power. For these reasons, this design must be in according with the conditions of outline dimensions and weight or guaranteeing working reliability, as well as necessary power performance, economic value, the usable requirements for disassemble-assemble, maintenance. The purpose of this paper is applying for collection of some gears and bears, calculation of reliability and check of parts strength according to the assigned technical index.
