The inspection of rail track corrugation is not only a routine job of the Maintenance Department but also the critical job to guarantee passengers' security and cozy feeling, and the rail track inspection vehicle is the most useful tool in the corrugation inspection.Based on the job of summerizing and drawing lessons from some kinds of rail track inspection vehicle and rail track inspection trolley the thesis applis the recurrence measurement method and the measurement method of chord into the plan of the rail track inspection trolley, and completes the measurement system design of the trolley. The plan has some advantage: more measurement items, higher speed, could give instant instructor at the scene of inspection. The thesis consists of four parts as following:1 .Inspection item analysis. The thesis begins the work from reseaching the standard of rail track status inspection, and analyzes the items and relative standards, then designs the method of measurement for each item and the algorithm for each parameter, and chooses the sensors.2.The overall design of inspection system. According to the result of step 1, the thesis gives overall measuring plan which consists of host(PC) and client(MCU). MCU controls the sensors and the subsequent circuit to get, process, and transport the data; and PC apply appropriate filtering algorithm and restoring algorithom to the data to get exact value as far as possible.3.Design of MCU circuit and porgram. PIC16f877 MCU is applied to control sensors such as magnetic grid, eddy-current sensor,rotary encoder and inclinator to sample and the subsequent processing circuit is designed to process data before input the data into MCU; the thesis designs the overall circuit of MCU, the circuit of its perpheral, and all of program of MCU. Some anti-jamming method is applied in the circuit and the program.4.Design of data process method using host. Further process the data inputed from MCU, and focus on the inverse filter algorithm to restore the data from the jam characteristic of the measurement method of chord and the filtering algorithm to avoid the of jam of track gap.The result of experiment of many items verifis that the measurement system of inspection trolley designed by the thesis can be applied into the inspection job. The system can detect the corrugation status of the rail track and provide valid help to the Maintenance Department. But, because of restrain from many actual ranson the thesis does not give the method to detect the wave length of track corrugation, we expect to approve the work in the future.
