With the development of wind industry, there would be more wind farm of 100MW.The effects of wind power become more and more serious with the enlargement of the wind farm scale, this kind of large wind farm grid-connected would bring many problems to the power system' stability. Moreover, the intermittence and fluctuating of wind farm power output would produce the certain influence to voltage quality of the power system, result in voltage level fall of local network and become serious obstacle of the further utilization of the wind resource. Therefore, research on the interaction of wind farm and network becomes an important problem to design and develop the power system.This paper is based on the constant speed constant frequency wind turbine (CSCF) and the variable speed constant frequency wind turbine (VSCF) wind power system, makes a lot of research on the effect between grid-connected wind farm and network, and does a comparison between CSCF and VSCF wind system on performance and effect to system .It develops a dynamic simulation program about grid-connection operation of CSCF and VSCF wind power system which is based on Matlab software.Main contents of the paper as follows:(1) Builds the dynamic model of asynchronous wind power system: includes wind speed, windmill, asynchronous generator and capacitor. It achieves the dynamic simulation of power system incorporating wind farm based on Matlab software. According to a practical wind farm system, the paper analyses the system dynamic performance on the change of wind speed, short-circuit that occurred at the terminal of wind farm and the action in or out of the STATCOM.(2) Builds the dynamic model of doubly-fed generator wind power system: includes doubly-fed induction generator and control system etc. It achieves the dynamic simulation of power system incorporating wind farm based on Matlab software. The simulation program simulate the responds of the wind farm under the disturbs of wind speed, all wind turbine withdraw to circulate etc.(3) Analysis the dynamic characteristics and effection to the power system between CSCF and VSCF .The simulation results show that VSCF has more superior behaviors.
