With the development of Numeric Control and electro-mechanics technologies, Linear Rolling Guide has been extensively applied in industry field. However, experienced 20 years R&D, practical and efficient design theories of linear rolling guide still has not been reached. Therefore, it has theoretical and practical significance to conduct systematical research on the basic theory and experiment of linear rolling guide. Based on ISO 14728, this thesis has studied on the rated static load, rated dynamic load and rated life of linear rolling guide. Furthermore, the thesis has developed a stiffness test device.Firstly, author introduces the ISO14728-1 and ISO14728-2, analyses and researches the calculation theory of ISO14728. It provides a base for using interrelated and similar ISO in the field for the future, furthermore, it provides a base for establishing interrelated standards in China.Secondly, according to the ISO 14728 and interrelated theory, the author analyses the factors which impact the rated static load, rated dynamic load and rated life, such as: the ratio of curvature, rigidity and so on. And the problems which will possibly appear in the process of calculation are presented, based on the calculation formula of the rated static load, rated dynamic load, rating life of linear rolling guide in ISO14728. And the author presents the selecting method and principle of interrelated parameters.Thirdly, the author analyses the structure and physical relations of linear rolling guide, based on the theory of Hertz, then analyses the calculation methods for stiffness of linear rolling guide under vertical load and preloading. Finally, the author presents a new ,practical and simple formula of stiffness calculation.Finally, this thesis has developed a stiffness test device, and completed the development of computer system software.
