Study On PC And PLC Based Monitoring And Control System Of Life Testing For Large-sized Switch Apparatus Testing Station

Switch apparatus test is very important to check the reliability and security of switch apparatus.With the development of science and technology, especially the widely application of computer technologies, by using which, we could collect operation data timely and actually, inspect and control system automatically, thus make sure the system operates stably. The PLC has been widely used in wide-ranging industries such as electric power, chemical industries, etc. In recently years, the PLC has been developed quickly. The Siemens S7 series integrated the live broadcasting total lines could be configured actively. They are applicable to situations with decentralizing course control.This paper presents the trend of the development of switch apparatus and its test. The test type and principle of switch apparatus are introduced in detail in this paper.In this paper, a method of how to use the system which composed of computer and PLC in the switch apparatus test is discussed. The program of the switch apparatus test control system is designed. The monitoring and control system for switch apparatus test consists of industry computer and PLC.The monitoring and control program have been developed with WinCC and STL, LAD language. User can control switch apparatus life testing flexibly with monitoring and control program.This paper also discussed the network configuration based on PROFIBUS for life testing of switch apparatus.At last, the experimental result of the switch apparatus life testing is showed in this paper.
