Study On Monitoring And Control System For Switch Apparatus Test

Switch apparatus is one of the most important components which widely applied in electric and electronic field. The test and measure of switch apparatus are very important for the reliability and security. Applying intelligent control system to switch apparatus test is recently the general trend of the development of switch test. This paper presents the trend of the development of switch apparatus and its test. The test type and principle of switch apparatus are analyzed in detail. Based on the national standard of switch apparatus test and the feature of the switch apparatus test station, the program of the switch apparatus test control system is designed. The monitoring and control system for switch apparatus test consists of industry computer and PLC. The human-computer interface and the monitoring and control program are developed. Considering the feature of the switch apparatus test station, the software of PLC is modularized and programmed as different function. User can control switch test flexibly with the monitoring and control system. The shut switch, the detached switch and the protected switch in test can be selected in a test line. The test time, the test cycle and the test number can be inputted. The circuit diagram of test and the action of switch can be observed in real time. The configuration of the test can be saved, loaded, edited and printed. The operator authorization level can be set in the control system. The interlock protection and alarming are developed in the control system.This control system has high reliability, simple operation, friendly interface and stronger flexibility. It has been run successfully in the field.
