The perforating is one of the key technologies in petroleum engineering. Perforating charge is the energy resources in perforating engineering. Its quality directly affects petroleum productivity. Therefore, it is vital important to guarantee perforating charge quality and to enhance the credibility .The quality and credibility of perforating charge not only relate with the right design and the material quantity, but also have close relation with the producing process and control of process parameters of perforating charge.The dose is the heart, of perforating charge, and pressing powder is one of the key processes of perforating charge production. The important parameters such as pressing powder pressure, pressing speed, holding pressure time and numbers of pressing etc. will affect directly the quality of perforating charge .Therefore controlling the craft process and the craft parameters strictly are the keys to guarantee the product quality. Recently more people try to research new types of perforating charge in different places and they keep silence what they got, so research in technologies of pressing powder is still in its starting stage. Though they are researching on the deformation characteristics of pressing powder, relation of pressure and density, characteristics of dose, but with little consideration on the facts of the pressing powder technologies to guarantee density uniformity and consistency.This paper researches mainly includes the following aspects:(1)The main control factors that affect the quality of pressing powder were studied. A new method is proposed to improve the object characteristics of perforating charge dose.(2) After analyzing the producing trait requirement of perforating charge and main functions¶meters of perforating charge pressing powder control systerm, the paper confirmed designing thought and automatic processes of perforating charge pressing powder control systerm. Studying and solving several key technologies such as the precisely control for pressure, integrated working procedure etc. At the same time, maked a PLC program by taking the Simens company's S7-200 programmable controller as the center part, to realize the craft processes of pressurizing, holding pressure, unloading pressure and integrated working procedure.(3) Based on production practice,find effective measures to make the pressure accuracy improved from±0.5Mpa to±0.1Mpa, so guarantee density consistency and uniformity. (4) Do tentative experiment to make integrated working procedure technology successfully. With the studied contol systerm and pressing powder technologies, analysised pressing powder quality by targeting experiment.The research result has been utilized in actual production, guaranteed perforating charge quality, and the production efficiency is improved, good economy and society benefit are attainted.Meanwhile, the application of the system technology can be further extended to other Initiating Explosive Device and production fields.
