As the augment of inverter output voltage and frequency can effectively improve the efficiency of ozone synthesis, under the condition without changing generating device, the key to develop DBD (Dielectric Barrier Discharge) ozone generator is how to realize the high-frequency high-voltage output of inverter power supply. Against the load characteristic of DBD ozone generator, this paper is to design a kind of inverter working at kilowatts level to meet above needs.Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the ozone's property, relative applications as well as manufacture methods. Through the description of DBD mechanics and comparison between domestic and foreign present states, the rationality and necessity of taking advantage of high-frequency high-voltage inverter is represented. Meanwhile, according to the analysis of DBD ozone generator's load characteristic which is under square wave voltage and sinusoid one, the quantitative relationship between such as average power consumption and output voltage as well as frequency is demonstrated. In doing so, the theoretical foundation of using high voltage and high frequency inverter to increase ozone productivity is established.Furthermore, based on the contrast of present DBD inverters' operating principle, the method that adopts soft switching and phase shift PWM control is provided. To guide this kind of inverter's development, its steady process and researching attention is also instructed. After the above, the concrete design of high-frequency high-voltage DBD inverter is obtained by analyzing master power transformer, main invert circuit, phase shift control circuit, etc. Besides, EAD soft PSPICE is utilized for proving and optimization during this course.In the end, relative summarization and perspectives have been given in this paper.
