This thesis has analyzed rules of thermal deformation and precision of ball bearing at elevated temperature and developed the related software system. Firstly, the temperature field and thermal deformation of ball bearing have been analyzed under different environmental temperature by using the software of ANSYS, then the distribution of temperature and radial, axial, and sum displacement of the ring and ball of the ball bearing under such condition are discussed. Based on the discussion, variation of radial clearance of the ball bearing caused by temperature has been calculated. Then, based on its work clearance, the reasonable clearance value of ball bearing has been eventually specified, considering other influencing factors such as part mating, force and so on. Then, the structural model of ball bearing at elevated temperature is established according to its thermal deformation characteristics, thus the parameterization modeling of ball bearing at high temperature is realized by the usage of secondary development technology for SolidWorksAPI.Lastly, a software system of numerical design and precision analysis of ball bearing at elevated temperature has been developed by the secondary development technology for SolidWorks and ANSYS, based on the platform of VisualBasic6.0. The system is composed of the following three modules: module of FEM analysis, module of elevated-temperature precision design and module of parameterization modeling. Because each module not only can perform its own function, but also can transfer result data among them, the system has realized intelligent design of ball bearing at elevated temperature in real sense. By simulating, the system has been proved right and it provides basis for selection and designing of ball bearing at elevated temperature in engineering.
