The forklift is one kind of the transportation machinery; it is increasingly used in the logistic industry. Forklifts make the logistics industry achieve a mechanized operations, make transporting workers reduce labor intensity and improve the operating efficiency. While the forklift portal-frame system is the executive component of the lifting loads. The design level is directly connected with whether the forklift can full play. The study for the design software of the forklift portal-frame system is necessary.Firstly, through the platform of Visual C++ 6.0, the software is structured. Based on the theory of the visualization, the software simulates the change of the parameters.Secondly, through API function of Solidworks software, SolidWorks is used Visual C++ 6.0 for secondary development to generate CSolidworks class. Using the class, the project automatically drives SolidWorks software to generate three-dimensional model. Then through the saving function, the three-dimensional model of the inner portal-frame is saved for " Parasolid (*. x_t)" format. In the design process, the forklift portal-frame system which is modified any parameter values can be droved.Thirdly, by APDL language, the issue secondarily develops ANSYS 10.0. Through VC ++ 6.0 Platform, the APDL command stream files are generated. Using the files, the inner portal-frame which is already built is automatically imported into ANSYS 10.0. Analyzing the inner portal-frame gets the inner portal-frame of the equivalent stress and the strain cloud to check whether the design meets the requirements or not.Finally, the above steps have passed, through the automatic document generation technology, the issue generates the calculation illustrated the instructions.Using the visual programming methods, combining with three-dimensional modeling software, Solidworks, and ANSYS 10.0 finite element analysis software, the subject in VC ++ 6.0 platform develops a " Forklift Portal-frame System CAD/CAE Design Software ". And using the hand calculation example proves the reliability and the accuracy of the software. It provides a fast and effective way to design the forklift portal-frame system.
