| With long history, china has so many ancient buildings. While the level of our country's economy and civilization are being enhanced, the protection of the ancient buildings are more and more important for our country and the whole society. The fire protection about ancient buildings is an important part in the protection of the ancient, which needs deeper research in the science of fire protection about ancient buildings and can provide necessary theory to make the low of fire protection about ancient buildings.The ancient buildings has many kinds of fashions, and we choose the house of Yang shang kun in Tongnan town of Chonging to be the object of research. With the fire simulation ,this article has analyzed the temperature distribution for this typical kind of ancient building, gotten some characteristics of the temperature distribution and change, and done some design of fire protection based on the fact. This work will develop the research of the fire protection about the same fashion of the ancient building.The fire simulation which the article used involved the cyber simulation and experimental simulation. We used fluent software to do the cyber simulation and analyzed two horizontal planes which are coined to the survey stations. The experimental simulation is finished in the institute of fire protection in Sichuan province, which has the scale of 0.1. The two kinds of simulations'results are fit each other after the analysis and comparison.The article's the source is the project of《The research of the rules about the fluxion of smoke in the ancient building fire and evaluation towards the fire protection of the ancient building》.According to the laws of the document, there are still some work need to finish which are the distribution of velocity, the distribution of concentration and the distribution of pressure when the preparation is enough and these work will make necessary preparation for the research later.
