In recent years, there have been frequent fires in ancient buildings, causing incalculable economic, cultural, and artistic losses. The state has paid more and more attention to the protection of ancient buildings and has repeatedly emphasized the need to strengthen the fire protection of ancient buildings at meetings.Ancient buildings are equipped with reasonable fire-fighting facilities, which can effectively reduce fire risks and losses. At present,my country’s current regulations on ancient building fire-fighting facilities are not clear and specific, resulting in insufficient engineering design basis, and it is easy to cause many problems such as lack of ancient building fire-fighting facilities or improper design. This article closely follows the national policy, and focuses on the difficulties of fire protection, and conducts research on the fire extinguishing facilities of ancient buildings. The main research content is the following aspects:(1)Consult literature and field research to analyze the causes of fire in ancient buildings, and compare and choose fire-fighting facilities.Fire analysis of ancient buildings found that there are great fire hazards in wooden components, electrical equipment, collections, burning incense candles, and decorations in ancient brick-andwood buildings. It is imperative to carry out fire-fighting reforms and adopt a highpressure water mist extinguishing system It is a more reasonable choice.(2)10 local wood species in Henan Province were selected for the experiment of determining the moisture content of wood after spraying, and the water damage loss caused by the spraying of the high-pressure water mist fire extinguishing system was studied. The experiment measured the change data of wood moisture content in 6 groups of different spraying times. The analysis showed that the average moisture content of 10 kinds of wood after spraying for the longest time of 30min was 27.5%,which did not reach the most suitable environment for the growth of wood rot fungi. After 2 hours in the shade, the moisture content of the other 8 wood species except for pine and birch all dropped to the 20%moisture content control point that inhibits the growth of wood rot fungi;after 7 hours of shade drying, the moisture content of pine and birch also dropped to the 20%moisture content control point, and the rest of the wood The moisture content dropped to the equilibrium moisture content of the atmosphere.(3)Construct a Gustav risk model, supplement the number of factors in the evaluation model and re-assign them, use the optimized Gustav method to conduct a comprehensive fire risk assessment on the ancient buildings of Jidu Temple, and generate a fire risk distribution map.It can be seen from the fire hazard distribution map that the GR and IR calculated values of the Imperial Palace, the Jade Emperor Hall and the Jieguan Building are in the dangerous area, and the dual protection of the automatic fire extinguishing system and the automatic alarm system should be adopted;the calculated GR and IR values of Bridge Pavilion,Long Pavilion and Lingyuan Pavilion are in a safe area, and no additional fire-fighting facilities are required;other buildings refer to the important analysis and choose to add necessary fire-fighting measures.(4)Completed the design of the fire protection renovation project of Jidu Temple, summarized the design points of the high-pressure water mist system, and provided a reference for the future fire protection design and code revision of ancient buildings.(5)FDS software was used to simulate fire in the Jade Emperor Hall in Jidu Temple, and the development trend of ancient building fire under the state of high-pressure water mist opening and closing was studied.Analyzing the laws of smoke spread, temperature field, visibility,CO concentration, etc.under different working conditions, and comparing them with personnel safety evacuation standards, the results show that highpressure water mist can effectively inhibit the spread of fire.
