In present, some international research of smart concrete paid emphasis on CFRC. But as the brittleness of carbon fiber, it is hard for carbon fiber to dissolve equally in the concrete. So it is important to develop new smart concrete, special as high cost for conductive components of carbon fiber.Steel slag which is a solid solution made of several minerals is a waste residue in the course of steel making. The property of steel slag is not only has relation to it's chemical components, but also has close relation to steel making technics and drainage ways of residue, so it's difficult to integrated use of steel slag. Therefore, it has important significance to research the new using ways of steel slag in architecture material area and implement high additional value of using steel slag. The paper aimed to the characteristics of steel slag quenching with wind such as excellent mechanical property, high content of iron and its oxidation. Based on the point of integrated use of steel slag, general situation of study on the temperature sensitivity of smart concrete and conductivity of steel-slag concrete, the paper studies Seebeck effect, temperature resistivity performance and the affected factors of steel-slag concrete. The mechanisms for generating above phenomenon were discussed as well. The research shows:(1) Steel-slag concrete has better Seebeck effect as the quality proportion of steel-slag and cement is 1~3, and as the quality proportion is 1:1, TEP is 48μv/℃, which represents as P-type semi-conductive performance. (2) The Seebeck effect of steel-slag concrete is more sensitivity than that of CFRC, but the stability shall be enhanced. (3) Analysis on mechanism of Seebeck effect showed that the solid solution FeO in steel-slag—P-type semi-conductivity would generate TEF as the effect of temperature and excursion with steel-slag grain or cement connected with it. (4) Steel-slag concrete has temperature-resistance performance. As the temperature between 30~70℃, the resistivity decreased as rising temperature while increased as falling temperature. The resistivity holds the line as stable temperature. (5) With stable humidity, when the temperature raised from 30℃to 70℃, the resistivity with quality proportion of steel-slag and cement as 1:1, decreased from 30.4 k?·cm to15.2 k?·cm. Resistivity was the same with that in ambient temperature after rising-falling temperature circulation. (6) Moisture contents have certain effects on temperature- resistance performance. Whereas more steel-slag contents, little effects of moisture contents on temperature-resistance performance.
