Grid is a new technology, which is rapidly developing with the development of the Internet technology. It makes the complete sharing of resource come true and offers transparent superior services to the users. Along with emergence of grid technology, the user management isn't central, closed and controllable. Grid system is facing all kinds of threats that include threats from the inner of system and threats from the outer of system. Traditional computer security mainly researches on preventing intrusion from the outer of system. However, traditional method has nothing to do with threads from the inner of system. So, it is necessary to evaluate the network behavior of users in grid environment. Thus, evaluation of user's behavior can reflect his reliability. In order to solve the safety problems incurred by the dynamic and uncertainty of grid environment, we introduce the trust computation mechanism. Trust is a complicated concept representing an entity's reliability, honesty or confidence level of properties such as capacities, which is a effective mechanism dealing with the uncertainty and risk of information. The trust problem in the grid environment has become a hot issue in the current research on grid safety.Based on the research of grid security technology in existence and trust relationship and the structure characteristics of grid, this paper proposes a new two-layer trust model based behavior to handle the trust relations between entities in the grid environment. The model adopts different methods for the trust relations inside the domain and the trust relations between domains. A practical method was given to process recommendation trust. The results of experiments and analysis show that this model is able to evaluate the trust relations between entities in grid more precisely, thus solving the safety problems existing in grid environment more effectively.
