The paper represent the concept and based analytical method of magnetic integration technique, generalize the method and characteristics of thin-film magnetic technique, and list the applicative examples. With the cohesion of magnetic integration technique and thin-film magnetic technique, the magnetic component is researched and analysed in the forward converter with active clamp circuit. The integrated magnetic in the converter is designed which integrated transformer and filter inductor on one core. The thin-film magnetic is designed on the base of integrated magnetic, which result in the magnetic carry out planar. Every factor which would influence the loss are discussed. Magnetic saturation, is solved by cut-off air cap on core, which is caused by dc magnetic flux accumulation of inductor's current. An adjustable capacitor is connected to main switch in parallel, then the parasitic parameter's influence is put down and soft-switch function is guaranteed. The aim to restrain ripple of output current is implemented by forward coupling magnetic flux of inductor. In center column of core, magnetic flux density is reduced by counteraction. As the result of the design, the total volume and weight of magnetic are reduced, the loss come down, the dynamic condition of converter is amended, and the power density and efficiency are improved.
