The energy is the mankind's power sources of social existence and development. Application of various new energy, such as solar energy, nuclear energy, subterranean heat energy, tide energy, wind energy, etc, is more extensive, while fossil energy is becoming less today in the world. Because of the limited fossil energy and increasing pressure of the environmental protection, many countries strengthen developing activities on the green renewable energy technique. Solar energy exploitation is an important direction.Hydrogen energy system, which uses hydrogen produced from solar cells as an energy carriage, has much potential in the future. Fuel cell provides very great convenience for the use of the hydrogen energy. Fuel cell is a kind of electric generation equipment which can convert chemimal energy of hydrogen and oxygen to electric power directly without combustion. It have many advantages, such as high energy conversion rate, free from pollution, modular configuration, etc.Therefore the combination of solar energy system and fuel cell system become attractive.In present thesis, at first a physical system was established that includes solar cell array, regenerative fuel cell (water electrolyser and proton exchange membrane fuel cell), Ni-H battery and brushless DC motor. Then a control system was designed based on the PCI-8333 Multifunction Card (Zhongtai company) and PC computer. The software part is programmed by Visual Basic. The management system successed in the control of the system, dynamic real-time show on the screen, and saving data needed. Collection of the data and system control was achieved. After obtained the data information, we also built up an embeded control system based on ARM9.In addition to energy system of the solar cell and regenerative fuel cell, the thesis has some academic and practical value in the application of space power systems, such as satellite and stratosphere airship power systems.
