Fuel cell is one of the new energy technologies which have the most favorable prospect in 21st century. With the development of relevant technologies, fuel cell control system with more excellent performance and compact size will be required. In this thesis, the PEMFC control system based on embedded technology is designed and implemented to realize the intelligence and miniaturization of the fuel cell.The development of the fuel cell and embedded system are introduced firstly. After presenting the total design theme of the control system, this thesis focus on the software development under embedded Linux. The three following aspects are fully studied:1. According to the control requirements of the fuel cell power system, the software system is designed into several layers and modules. The method of combining multi-process with multi-thread is implemented to realize real time control of the multi-channel system. Aiming at the unwatched situation, a software auto reboot method is applied to enforce the usability and reliability of the embedded software.2. Aiming at the special hardware, device drivers of the GPIO and PWM module of ARM processor based on Linux kernel 2.6 are designed to realize the control output. Based on I2C bus, the PCF8583 chip is used to extend the real time clock and EEPROM module of the control system. Linux kernel driver code of the I2C bus subsystem is analyzed and optimized to improve the bus transfer efficiency.3. The embedded graphic user interface based on Qt/Embedded library is implemented to realize the human machine interacting of the control system by LCD touch screen, including system status display, history record query and parameter setting. The programming process is introduced in detail.The design of fuel cell control system based on embedded technology indicates the trend of miniaturization of fuel cell, which has significant reference value to the relevant research.
