Machine condition monitoring technique can keep the security of manufacture, reduce the cost of devices maintenance and increase the use of devices. Usually, condition monitoring by the way online monitoring or spot-inspection device getting data to analyze and diagnose, considering the large cost of online monitoring device and the problem which is called"Monitoring Overmuch", the spot-inspection device is used more widely with the characteristic of schlepping conveniently and the moderate price .This paper advances a fault diagnosis device based on Windows CE is a spot-inspection device. It has the ability of displaying the real time time-wave and amplitude spectrum, recording data, analyzing data and fault diagnosis efficiently.The system uses the S3C2410 as the kernel of the hardware, transplanting the embedded Windows CE as the operation system, developing the device driver and the application. Using the FPGA+DSP construction to carry on the high speed data acquisition and the data processing, then transmits the data to the WINCE system through high speed SPI interface to display , analysis processing or store.This article introduces the design of the fault diagnose instrument based on the Wince through description of the hardware, the software and the algorithm. In this article firstly introduces the topic background and the practical significance, Secondly introduces the system software and hardware design, then details introduction through three aspects of the system key technologies: the operation system transplant and the device driver development, the system software development based on .net , and the main algorithm design of the system ; Finally is the system function realization.This primary functions of the system are : collecting the data through the sensor (can connect two sensors) to the analog module to carry on processing; displaying the time wave and the amplitude spectrum of one channel or two channels; recording the data for a period of time ; carrying on order analysis and phase analysis ; carrying on the two-side dynamic balance; user may store the data or look over the history data; user may set the system and so on.The tools used are Platform Builder , Embedded Visual C++ and .net 2003.The development of the fault diagnose instrument based on WinCE is the newest design platform in abroad and it is a new trying in home. Excellencies of the system are : friendly interface, dependable capability, high-rate data acquisition, advanced diagnosis technology and software extensibility.
