In this paper, many kinds of problems and their solve method relate to the study of net deployable reflector antenna mechanical analysis is discussed in detail. Mainly include:1. Discussed the engineering background, study status, purpose, importance, mainly content and the key technical problems to be solved of the study of net deployable reflector antenna mechanical analysis.2. Summed up the structure shape of the net deployable reflector antenna, analyzed the advantage and disadvantage of the various structure shape and the mechanical characteristics of the net deployable reflector antenna different from the conventional antenna.3. Through testing the mechanical properties of the net structure knitted by different materials and method, a kind of net structure substituted for metal net structure is found, which is similar to the metal net structure in mechanical properties. The two-direction mechanical properties of the Substitute net are tested. Mechanical properties of four types of rope are tested and the test result is analyzed and verified.4. Discussed the thought of simulating composite rods and beams by even isotropy material ones in FEA model. Provided the formulas by which the elemental material parameters, cross section parameters and stress are determined. Discussed how to determine elemental material parameters, elemental constants and deal with the net initial stress when simulate net reflector by membrane element. Discussed the method of dealing with the rope and it's initial stress and the thought of simulating rotatable joint by beam element based on the equal stiffness principle in FEA model.5. By building up the FEA model, the modals, harmonic responses, thermal analysis and thermal deformation of the radial rib deployable reflector antenna under different conditions are calculated. In addition, the calculate result is analyzed briefly.6. By building up the FEA model, the modals and gravity deformation of the peripheral truss deployable reflector antenna under different conditions are calculated. In addition, the calculate result is analyzed briefly.7. By comparing the partial analysis result with the measure result, briefly Discussed the feasibility of the analysis method .
