Nowadays, the manufacture capability and using quantity of elevator is one of the symbols of national modernization degree. Especially, along with urban population increase and people's corporeal life quality have been raised greatly, architecture field develop rapidly that a large of high building and large mansions appear as if bamboo shoots in spring come out of ground after raining. The elevator has been playing a key role in our life such as production working and daily life. Therefore, study on elevator is much more significant.People never stop study on elevator. On theory, elevator controls system had gone through three phases that from relay-connector control to PLC control and then Computer control. In actual engineering design in our country, PLC is popular applied in virtue of its advantage such as high-reliability, excellent anti-jamming ability, strong function, wonderful expansibility and low cost etc.Long-distance control is also a hotspot of elevator technique, which is a strong concentrated management means for those people who maintain and use elevator. We can get the elevator daily running record and information through monitor its running condition by this technique that can help people know the elevator failure in advance then make judgment and take action accordingly, which benefit to elevator management. Our county has been accelerated researching this technique.This paper mainly does a research on elevator control and long-distance monitor based on PLC/MCGS meanwhile combines with another technical hotspot that is face to end-user low-voltage monitor system, it is not only a long-distance monitor system of elevator but also will be design into a integrated system include of real-time monitor, coordination and control according to industry electric equipment. Firstly, the main construction and control requirement of elevator is analyzed; the PLC program is designed. Secondly, the industry spot monitor system is designed by MCGS configuration software. Finally, real-time monitor , data keeping, long-distance control and alarm function for the spot equipment are carried out, this technique is significant to the more research on elevator control and industry spot monitor.
