| At present, bus style design is in the early time of a rapid development stage in China. It will be a gradually into the details, all-round and in-depth competition. From the market, bus consumption gradually become rational, and the existing extensive management of design will not be able to meet the social and market development. In order to meet the social development and the increasing consumer demand, the mode should shift from extensive to lean. At present, our bus style design is in lack of in-depth meticulous idea and systematic methods. Style design is emotional, so its uncertainty and idealization is obvious, while the engineering manufacture is rational. Because of the conflict between them, as well as the restriction of capital cost and production conditions, the present effectiveness of design is low. This paper attempts to find a proper guiding philosophy and ideas for work, which would be more systematic and rational.In this paper, bus style design and its characteristics are studied deep. It would try to look at the product as a whole, and work with the concept and methods of V.E., to seek more comprehensive explanation and three-dimensional view of design. So all the factors would be taken into consideration, and the work would be rational and lean. And then, the value of products would be enriched and maximized, which would service our life well.This paper will combine V.E. and bus style design. On the conceptual level, the conception of value is integrated into style design, which becomes deeper. Accordingly, the value of products would be maximized, and largely meet the primary demand of users, whose pay levels are limited. And the same time, the function and cost for bus style design are defined, and the fundamentals of bus style design based on the concept of value and the guiding ideology are proposed. On the methodological level, rational systematic methods for style design are summarized, to grasp the whole process. So the extensive mode would be improved, and the work would be carried out more effectively. The existing methods and processes of V.E. do not fully fit bus style design. Taking that into account, this paper only draws on its core concept, and part of the methods to guide the work.With some examples, this paper discusses some major design process based on V.E., including general function analysis, integrated value analysis of different objects and different levels, the evaluation with a comprehensive multi-level model of fuzzy, and the evaluation of imbalance of factors.V.E. is a systematic, organized work, while bus is a very complex product, the style design of which is changeful, so only a part of the process of V.E. is introduced, and the discussion is a broad general one. In practice, to find out how to charge all kinds of conditions, a large number of attempts are needed. In addition, it still need further study by practice to find out that if it could use V.E. on a deeper level.According to the analysis and practice in this paper, there is a certain practical meaning to combining V.E. and bus style design, which leads the idealization to pragmatic work, and makes the products meet the primary actual needs of users. What is more, the methods are helpful to systematize the work, and make it more rational, more effective and deeper. |
