In order to know the character of molding and combustion of biomass, the article research about corn straw, Using quadratic regression and correct meet combination design, operating on the molding machine which is made ourselves. Do the research and discussion about the effect that the factors of corn straw molding (pressure and heat) deal to the density and molding of biomass pellet. The pressurized Thermo Gravimetric analysis of one biomass sample——corn straw was performed under different pressures, heat temperature and ascending temperature velocity.Thepyrolysis characteristics were obtained from TG and DTG curves. And kinetic parameters of biomass were also calculated by thermal analysis mathematic method. The results show that the biofuel has higher ratio of combustion completeness, the lower temperature and pressure of molding, and Going up the pressure can raise the reaction speed and delay the burnable temperature, and it makes the characteristic of the volatile matter's burning in evidence; the increase of ascending temperature velocity makes the reaction speed raise and the burnable temperature delay; the raise of the heat temperature makes the reaction speed delay and the burnable temperature raise. The results of research are important and valuable for the design of biomass molding machine and boiler.
