Biomass molding technology could compress loose biomass into quality molding fuel with high density and alternative coal. As the biomass molding fuel has low cost, easy in stocking and transportation, good combustion performance, high thermal efficiency etc advantages, therefore biomass molding technology develops rapidly. But the biomass molding equipment presently have lower molding rate, lower productivity, higher energy consumption, shorter service life etc faults, all those hinder the development and promotion. The article bases on the optimization design on press roller of the biomass flat die molding for the discussion topic and experimental studies the parameters of room temperature seizing compression dense forming mechanism and the influence of seizing compression molding result to decrease energy consumption, increase production, reduce worn of the forming parts etc.Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the several main kinds forming machine and basing on the original experiment research, the article chooses biomass flat die molding machine as the research object, points out it with low production, low molding rate, wear quickly and puts forward some solution route and research content.Researching on seizing compression molding mechanism of biomass flat die molding machine gets the different compression stages of raw microstructure and combination mode and points out that the press roller structural is one of the main factors on influencing the seizing molding effectExperimental analyzing force on press roller of biomass flat die molding machine gets the relationship between the roller press size and compression distance. Meanwhile comparing the stress distribution of different parameters of the roller gets the main parameters which successively includes tooth thickness, slot rate, tooth profile.Analyzing and referring to the related molding debugging steps and choosing the reasonable experimental steps. Selecting PM x75-â…¡ biomass flat die molding as experiment platform, processing different parameters of press roller and testing by orthogonal experiments. The experimental results show the optimal forming effect, worn effect and use cycle conditions in this situations is that slot rate for45-50%, tooth thickness for7to10mm, teeth spacing for3to5mm, tooth depth for6to8mm. Finally experimental researching the worn mechanism of press roll and pointing out the method of reducing worn.
