With the development of highway construction and the traffic flow continues to increase, the quality problems of highway construction has drawn more and more attention. The road surface could not achieve the service life of the design, and the early damage have occurred now and then, the compaction degree insufficiently is one of main reasons which the road surface early destroys. The compaction work is the important link which the roadbed and the road surface various structural material obtain the enough compactness.The traditional compactness detection method belongs to the sampling detection, uses the sampling method often make the phenomenon of "the weak point" undetected, this forms the intrinsic hidden danger of the road quality. The article based on the research results of the compactness detection method from domestic and foreign, proposed surveys the compaction degree of the soil with the in-vehicle compaction degree detection system. Its merit is may carry on to detect continuously, and can avoid the phenomenon of compaction being insufficient or excessive.The article first analyzed the relations between the vibration acceleration signal of the vibro-roller and the soil compactness, thus obtained the method of the compaction degree consecutive detection technology to detect compactness is the positive correlation of compactness and vertical vibration acceleration of vibro-roller round, has determined the instrument structure composition. Subsequently, has established the system dynamics model of "the vibro-roller - soil", and has carried on the dynamics model simulation that based on Matlab/Simulik, and has confirmed further the correctness of the theoretical analysis. Next, has designed compaction detection system and explained its structure and principle. Finally, through the massive laboratories experiment and the field test, use the model machine of the compaction consecutive detection system to gather and analyse the signal, and to confirm the best installment position of the acceleration instrument, and to confirm the signal reflection method of the compactness value, and proposed one of compactness return formula which may use practically, that will smooth the way to realize the product for compaction degree consecutive detection technology early.
