| The thesis investigates the development and the principle of wind turbine generator, sorts the wind turbine generator into the fixed speed wind turbine generator, variable slip fixed wind turbine generator, doubly fed induction wind turbine generator and entire power conversion variable frequency variable speed wind turbine generator. It analyzes the models of wind turbine generator, including aerodynamic model, shaft system model and asynchronous generator model, doubly-fed induction generator model. It introduces the problems about wind farm integration into power system, including load flow, reactive power and voltage, frequency regulation, transient stability, power quality and short-curcuit capacity and so on. On the basis of the models, the thesis establishes the models of power grid and wind turbine generator in the simulation software. It studies the reactive power and voltage characteristic of the wind turbine generator based on asynchronous generator and doubly-fed induction generator through load flow and transient stability calculation. At the end, the thesis summarizes the grid codes of power grid company in every country. |
