The 110kV substation is the most important link in the urban power metwork. Ferromagnetic resonance overvoltage often occurs in the 10kV and 35kV part of the 110kV substation. The equipment of electric supply is destroyed, and it leads to great loss of power supply. Ferromagnetic resonance overvoltage of the 10kV and 35kV part of the 110kV substation is simulated and analysed in this paper. First, the standard simulation model is formed, and the computing parameter is analysed and set up. Then simulation computation of ferromagnetic resonance overvoltage is carried out by employing ATP-EMTP simulation software. Some prevetion measures to ferromagnetic resonance overvoltage is studied in a deepgoing way. The simulation results demonstrate that the measures proposed in this paper is effective to protect from generation of ferromagnetic resonance overvoltage.
