The research of the optimization of urban public transport real-time dispatching is the basic issue of urban public transport scheduling. This paper aims at search for a kind of intelligent real-time dispatching system on the basis of the current urban public transport system and the practical optimization theory and model algorithm.This paper focuses on the research of real-time dispatching, established the bus service time forecasting model based on Back Propagation Neural Networks, designed the intelligent bus real-time dispatching algorithm, at the same time demonstrated the feasibility of the algorithm by an example.This paper designed and realized intelligent bus real-time dispatching system, which is a sub-module of the intelligent dispatching system of Beijing public transport. Intelligent bus real-time dispatching system, with the support of bus daily dispatching management module, GPS module, GIS geographic map display module and Database module, aggregated BP neural net prediction model and intelligent real-time dispatching algorithm. This system meets the need of the daily dispatching management operation of bus enterprise, at the same time knowledge discovery from large amount of data and efficient data-analysis provide the controller more decision-making assistant information.
