In order to meet the architectural function of large space in the bottom and small space in the upper part, frame-supported shear wall structure is used in practical engineering. The lateral stiffness has mutations in transfer floor due to the discontinuity of upper and lower vertical member in this kind of structure. The internal force and displacement of transfer floor are easy to have mutations .This kind of structure is unfavorable to seismic in theory and practice, and also the transfer floor becomes weak story easily.Nowadays, frame-supported short-leg shear wall structure is used widely in practical engineering. The stress of transfer beam under vertical load is extremely complicated owing to the interaction of shear wall and transfer beam. No provisions of methods about section design of transfer beam in Chinese code. And theoretical research in this area is not yet ripe.To deal with above problems, firstly, large finite element program ANSYS, is used to do the calculation and analysis of a building with a transfer floor in 14 floor at the bottom layer. The ratio of equivalent shear rigidity of the upper structure and the lower structure is also considered. Some law of seismic behavior in frame-supported shear wall structure with bottom frame layer and different ratio of equivalent shear rigidity under horizontal earthquake action is presented. The influence of ratio of equivalent shear rigidity in shear wall fall to the ground and in shear wall upside the transfer floor on seismic performance is also obtained.In the next place, base on the model of frame-supported shear wall structure with different section height of the limb of shear-wall and different location of the shear wall, the finite element method analysis and calculation of the structure and transfer beam are developed using the large finite element program ANSYS and MIDAS. The horizontal stress and internal section force distributing are presented of transfer beam and compare with reinforcement under flexural of transfer beam. The reasonable method of reinforcement under flexural of transfer beam is obtained.Finally, the use of two different software (Ansys and Midas) analysis and calculation, and then compare their results.I hope that the research of this paper can benefit the construction engineering.
