Along with the rapid development of the city metro in our country, tunnel construction technology with shield is more and more being developed and applied, because of its unique characteristics and advantages such as intelligence, safety and quickness, etc. Earth pressure balance (EPB) shield is used most extensively in shield construction. The characteristics of its EPB system directly affect the construction quality and efficiency of EPB shield. Therefore, the improvement of shield's EPB system's performance has important engineering value.According to the criterion of similarity, the shield's EPB simulated system based on constant pressure network was established. Through contrasting the pump-controlled motor type of EPB simulated system, simulated results show that such kind of EPB simulated system has advantages of response speed and save energy.In order to further research the feasibility of applying constant pressure network technology in shield's EPB system and double-O-shield's EPB system, It's necessary to do engineering experiment or simulated experiment .But with the restricted factors of economy, security and possibility, it's quite difficult to do engineering experiment in shield and to establish double-O-shield's EPB simulated system. Therefore, it's necessary to do basal research by simulation first.The mathematical model of shield's EPB simulated system based on constant pressure network was established by using the theory of power bond graph, the simulation model was established in Matlab/Simulink and verified. The simulation model of pump-controlled motor type of shield's EPB simulated system was established previously. On the basis of the models, the simulation models of pump-controlled motor type of double-O-tube shield's EPB simulated system and double-O-tube shield's EPB simulated system based on constant pressure network were also established, The simulation results show that the simulation models can basically realize to simulate the situation of the double-O-tube shield's EPB simulated system. It provides the beneficial reference to establish double-O-tube shield's EPB simulated system.According to the S-329 shield's EPB system, the mathematical and simulation models were established. Simulation model was verified by contrasting actual data and simulation data. On the basis of the model, to establish the simulation model of shield's EPB system based on constant pressure network, simulation results show the shield's EPB system based on constant pressure network has the advantage of response speed. It provides important reference to use constant pressure network technology in shield's EPB system.
