The driving working condition of vehicle power train is one of the foundations of performances of transmission system. In this paper, the load spectrum of the driving working condition was programmed and the NVH test-bed was designed based on the analysis of the vehicle longitudinal dynamics and driving working conditions. Also, the simulation analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the test-bed was accomplished to explain it can simulate the driving working conditions, comparing with the result.The driving working condition of vehicle power train contains two parameters: torque and rotational speed. According to the driving force equation, it was programmed that the driving condition was converted to the power train working condition, by using Lab/Windows CVI software. The load spectrum can be obtained easily by this program.To simulate the driving working condition,a test-bed was needed. This paper introduced the detailed process of test-bed design taking NVH test-bed for example. This NVH test rig is the first one with high dynamic characteristics in domestic, and has been put into service.To analyze the NVH test-bed aims to obtain the dynamic characteristics. The multi-field simulation software Dymola was needed for this test. Through comparing with the tests, it turned out that this test-bed can simulate the driving working condition of vehicle power train, and also provided an available analysis method of dynamic characteristics.To reconstruct the real driving working condition, the actual conditions of the transmission system are needed. A wireless torque data collection system is designed for collecting the data of real driving working condition. The strain gage is used as the sensor. Then it went through an amplified-filter circuit, sampled by the Chip ADuC812, and wirelessly transmitted by the Chip nRF2401. Finally, it was transmitted into the PC for save and analysis by the Serial Communication RS232.Through this paper, the simulation of the power train becomes true preliminarily. The high-tech NVH test-bed is designed and developed and put into use in some companies. And the dynamic characteristic is modeled and simulated. Comparing the simulation with and the result, it signifies that the test-bed performs well in the field of simulation of driving working condition.
