The matching specialities of inlet with engine have much influence on working characteristics of engine, which request that inlet can afford necessary mass flow to engine, keep airflow equably, reduce total pressure losing and exterior resistance and accessional resistance possibly. So, to investigate inner mass flow of inlet is important content for the incorporate designing of body and propulsion system of fighter.By the test results of four type of inlets at low speed, the properties of inlets and its influence factors are analyzed. The results show that nose inlet could provide high total pressure recovery coefficient and low distortion coefficient at small angle of attack, but it is sensitive to angle of attack. Composite properties of obscure inlet are preferable so that advantageous to improve the maneuverability of aircraft at high angle of attack. These four forms are fit to different configuration of aircraft respectively. Based on the test results, we studied the function of auxiliary vavlve and the radar absorb board to inlet property, and also studied the inlet property when the second Ram is in fault status. Specially, we studied the effection of missiles on inlet characteristic. All of this provide inlet project with test foundation.In the last chapter, the advanced project on inlet for fighter in the aviation world was introduced, which gives the goal to us for our wok in future.
